Patmos

DOMITIAN EXILED JOHN TO PATMOS
The island of Patmos was used as a place of exile for convicts. This is how Apostle John came to Patmos, exiled by the Roman Emperor Titus Flavius Domitianus in 95 AC.

ROMAN EMPERORS
Vespasian (69–79 CE) father of Titus, he built the colosseum.

Titus (79–81 CE) destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 AD

Domitian (81–96 CE) brother of Titus, exiled John to Patmos in 95 AD
