Revelation 1:9-11 NIV
'I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.” '

Future (later) RAPTURE & HEAVEN
Revelation 4:1 (Note: this is the Church called up to heaven)
'After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” '
Revelation 5:1-2 (Note: this is the Church watching the Lamb in heaven)

Revelation 5:7
'He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. '
Future (later) TRIBULATION & 2nd COMING
Revelation 6:1-2 NIV (Note: this is the beginning of the Tribulation period)
'I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest. '
Revelation 19:11-14 NIV (Note: this is the ending of the Tribulation period)
'I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. '
Future (later) WEDDING
Revelation 19:7-9 (Note: this is the Church/Bride up in heaven shouting)
'Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.” '
Future (later) MILLENNIAL KINGDOM
Revelation 20:4-6 NIV (Note: this is the 1,000 year reign of Christ on earth)
'I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. '
Future (later) NEW JERUSALEM & ETERNAL STATE
Revelation 21:2-3 NIV (Note: this is the eternal state of promised in John 3:16)
'I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. '

Revelation is an easy book to understand if you follow the divine outline in Revelation chapter 1 verse 19. This is the only book in the bible which comes with a promise from God for reading it, hearing it, and keeping it. The book is a letter from God to the churches to be faithful because he will save those from his wrath that is coming to test the inhabitants of the earth. Be saved from God's wrath. Repent and turn to Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. and get into Heaven.
